Provides good 1:1 attention. Teachers in the preschool-kindegarten level and 1st-3rd grades are excellent.
My daughter has been going to this school for 3 years. Her rate of learning surprises us each day. The children are taught to manage their time and can progress at their own pace. Great learning enviroment!
My oldest daughter started here for preschool and is now nearing the completion of first grade. She absolutely loves school, and has learned the most most valuable lesson -- the desire to learn more. Nurture a child with the Montessori method, and nothing will stop them. I am always amazed by the things my daughter is learning -- she is well ahead of her peers in convention schools. I attribute that to the quite teaching style of these professionals who know how to motivate children and facilitate their individual interests to keep the classroom environment exciting for them.
Discovery House Montessori is unquestionably a fantastic choice. The environment of the 3-4-5 year olds is quiet and conducive to learning. The hands-on experiential method offers so much more than a mere workbook or public school 'stations'. One of the amazing things is the way the teachers tie required material in with daily student discussions and all the delightful things these darling little people talk about.
