All the teachers are amazing in the way they care about each student and work to make sure everyone is successful.
Because the teachers are really committed to the students and they have an awsome music teacher who is just incredible and gets every child to feel good about their musical skills!
Newcastle Elementary is one of the best elementary schools in Issaquah School District. My children started at Newcastle since the first opening day 5 years ago. They have excellent IEP teachers. I cannot express the gratitude and thanks to every teacher that has helped my son with his learning disabilities. The Sage program is very good as well. The music program is excellent and Mrs. Wood is one of the best teachers, I believe, in the entire district. The environment is safe. As with any schools, your will find great teachers and lousy teachers and believe me, I have dealt with all of them. My kids love it there and so do I. I highly recommend this school for parents with/without kids with learning disabilities. I wish this school would go up to grade 8 and make middle school as enjoyable as elementary school. Keep up the great work!!!!
The chorus and music program at Newcastle is fantastic! Mrs. Wood is a phenomenally gifted and enthusiastic teacher.
