I have a child enrolled in this school after having had great success in another local Christian school, but unfortunately we had to change schools because the other school's Pastor was leaving and the future of the school was in doubt. I have NOT been very happy with this school, mostly because how the children act here. The kids are THE MOST unchristian kids that I have ever encountered. They act nice to adults, but to the other kids are very nasty. Discipline seems to be focused on some kids and not others and the kids seem to get away with a lot of stuff that I would, as a parent, definitely not let happen and does not always seem to be fairly enforced. The Principal is very nice and seems to be fair and the faculty is mostly friendly. But, if you're looking for a Christian environment, keep this in mind.
Outstanding education at an incredibly low price! The ABEKA curriculum is wonderful. Results can be verified by looking at the students SAT scores. Most students test at least one grade level above their current grade and many test two or more grade levels above it. The teachers are college educated, christians, serving as missionaries to the community. Children are taught both academics and values through the love of Jesus Christ. Your child will love this school!
My daughter has been in Elfers fr three eyars and far exceeds what her peers are leaning in public schools. She is a year ahead of her other friends in publics school and does very well academically and reigiously.
I am a parent of students that went here. The teachers are under educated and the administration is judegemental and negative. The doctring that is taught teaches fear and damanation, not the unconditional love of God. There are many internal issues that create a negative environment. Look elsewhere to send your children spend your money.
