I love the school and my children are so comfortable and the teachers are very helpful and work well with the kids!
I found this school to be a good place, since I learned several things. Also because how the teachers go at a moderate pace.
Swain is an excellent school. All of my children have attended Swain, the teachers are accessible, their is a lot hands-on activities throughout the school year that are helpful to parents. My child has Mr. Bettencourt this year, and he is by far one of the best teachers yet. I believe its important to challenge students to learn, and Mr. B is able to motivate his class through a series of challenging academic activities that are also fun and exciting. All teachers should try to incorporate some of his style of teaching.
Swain is a good school. Mrs. Smith was my daughter's kindergarten teacher last year. I liked how she kept all the children at their own learning level. It is so nice to have the music program, they learned the words to so many songs, and the Meet The Masters program is great! My daughter came home talking about how much she loved it, she learned different art styles as well as the names of the artists. They also went to the computer lab and the library once a week. I like the extended day kindergarten, I feel that my daughter was able to learn a whole lot more than had she been at a school only 3-4 hours a day.
