My daughter recently graduated from SG. It was a wonderful experience and she cried when it was over. A great school, with many perks.

This is a toprate school that has become more diverse in the years since I graduated. I am amazed at the physical facilities now. It is improving by leaps and bounds.

St. George's is an elite boarding school and it deserves its reputation, but it wasn't always and easy place to spend four years. I believe the school has become more diverse since I graduated, which I consider progress. The school sponsored diversity workshops, but nothing substitutes for actual diversity. To its credit, SG has great teachers, excellent facilities, and is generally well run; the headmaster has a gift for raising funds and so many new facilities have been erected. On the down side, the school is extremely insular, and almost every second of every day is programmed. I spent my four years feeling out of touch with current events, and sleep deprived. I treasure the friends I made at SG and am greatful for the encouragement I recieved from the faculty, but I wish I hadn't felt like a foot in a shoe that was a size too small all the time.

Two of our sons attended. A wonderful and caring place with 'old school' values: jackets and ties, classes on Sat, no cars allowed and tough discipline. Coupled with tough admissions and great teachers, it was a great place for them to get their secondary school education and prep for some top quality colleges. Would do it all over again and, they admit, they would, too.
