Both of my children have attended Cedarcrest-Southmoor from K-5. I have been extremely pleased with the education that my children have obtained at this school. The teachers at the school showed genuine concern about my children. I am impressed constantly by how well-behaved the students are at this school. I believe it is due the great leadership, the high academic standards and the clear discipline policies.
My daughter is in the 3rd grade, she has been in this school since kindergarden and it is the greatest public school in this parish. There are no gimmicks the teachers genuinely care about the students and there achievements test scores are a plus but the child is always first. I would recommend this school to anyone.
Excellent school. I have one son that attended from second grade thru fifth grade and another son currently in fifth grade that has been there since kindergarten. The teachers are exceptional. They are great about communicating with parents and caring about the children.
Excellent School. My son has attended third and fourth grade at Cedarcrest.When we first moved to Baton Rouge two years ago the school district was the main focus. We moved into the school district we are in because of rave reviews from other parents whose children attend Cedarcrest. I can say that I am in no way dissapointed.
