i love D.A.T.E. Not only is it a great school but the moral is like an extended family. our parent participation is awesome. no matter what they are asked to do they are there and ready to work.
Dekalb Academy! Wow! The school has moved into a new facility, which only enhances the instructional focus and brands the school as an icon of exceptionality. The leadership is poweful and infectious with the Headmaster being a model for teachers, students, and parents. As a new parent, I am even elated at the amount of involvement that takes place at the school. I know that the mission of the school will be accomplished. I am proud to be a parent
We have been blessed to have our children attend this school, and our children have been blessed to be here. This is our third year at D.A.T.E. Academy. If you are looking for a school that offers a good, solid academic curriculum, then D.A.T.E. Academy is the place for you. The children wear uniforms here which adds a degree of class. This school offers an excellent balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The teachers, office staff, and administrators are caring and exceptional at what they do. They really love their careers, and it shows. It is an atmosphere where the Headmaster supports and encourages the teachers. The parents are involved in every aspect of the school and its programs. It has been a very positive experience for my elementary and middle school children. Without a doubt this school will continue to thrive and WILL become the top charter school in Georgia.
I write as a parent and a teacher. DATE Academy is a unique school. We're a humble charter school, but we boast a beautiful lake and environment that complements our school focus. We have dedicated teachers, great leadership, and wonderful parents. We are constantly challenging ourselves as teachers to motivate and engage our students, to look at our weaknesses and build our strengths. I am proud to be both a parent and teacher with DATE Academy.
