Before going to PV my oldest son went to Mary Morrission but due to housing moving us we were forced to send both of our children to Pleasant Valley this school year. We have had nothing but problems. When we address them with the staff we are talked down to and nothing is done about it. My oldest was being bullied for the first four months of school and that didn't stop until my husband, who was on deployment at the time, called from Africa and talked to them. I am so glad that we got the call today that due to overcrowding they are redistricting again and we will be at a new school next year. There are a few very good teachers at PV but thats it. The rest of the staff we found very rude and unconcerned.

This is the worst school my children have ever attended. We are so glad to have moved. Very cold and unprofessional staff and principal.

There are a few good teachers here, but not many. Special education is a fight to get what your child needs and is entitled to. School board members don't respond to concerns. They don't even have room for art and music in the school since redistricting. Art and music class are held in the child's regular education room.

While I was on deployment like most parents of students at this school, they pressured my wife to have my son put on medication. We later tried to get him off, and the school was completely against this idea. They rated my son horribly for his evaluation, when 4 months earlier his teacher thought he was great. The principal is horrible, she is fake and I was bothered when I spoke with her. The curriculum seemed so much different than what was going on right down the road at Mary Morrison. I am not the only person that feels this way. This school is more worried about political correctness then preparing children for later grades.
