I think that there is too much emphasis on moving the 4th an5th grade classes around to different teachers like they do in middle school. This takes far too much time away from learning as the amount of minutes the children are acually learning has been reduced (the school has not increased the time the children are there to compensate for the movement to and from class as they do in middle school). Test scores have gone down. Kids are taking time to correct papers instead of teachers doing it (the school day is NOT 8 hours and if you look at the parking lot after school you can see that at Moulton there are a select few that are dedicated) maybe if they were not protected by tenure there would be more of an emphasis on teachers actually teaching.

I feel Moulton is and excellent school. The teachers are dedicated. I am against the new legislation for cut backs and will voice my opinion.

This is our first year at Moulton and we have been very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and teachers. The children are their priority which is very refreshing. We love that they take a TLC approach in learning, have two computer labs, science lab and music. The principal is very dedicated and has a background in curriculem development and teaching. Thanks Mr. Vlasic!
