Angell School

An amazing elementary school! My children learned so much from the skilled and dedicated teaching staff. This is the best elementary school in the city.

This school is considered the best (?) one in town. But I feel several issues to be clarified: 1) Our child's home work was never marked and returned 2) Teaching style is not very structured, maybe depending on teacher to teacher 3) Too many unnecessary activities, good for students with social ability and leadership. But kids need to learn basic math and reading. Our child is happy anyway. 4) The advantage is that this is a small school, so all kids know each other and know their teachers.

I am a former student of Angell. This is an amazing school and I miss it so much. My youngest sister will be graduating this year and my whole family will truly miss it. I love each and every teacher there, they have such a great staff. They also have an amazing music department. In two years they will start teaching languages there. Angell has just had a turf soccer field put in and they are dedicating it to a very important man who passed away this October. The Ice Cream Social is on June 2nd, please fell free to come and check out our amazing school!

I attented Angell for many years, and it was a great place to be. The teachers are very involved and everyone there was welcoming and really made me feel at home and safe. Even after graduating I still feel like part of the Angell community.
