The school has a very good clean enviroment, it is also a nice learning envirorment. The teachers are not too strict and not too laid back, which makes a great mix. The dress code is not nearly as bad as what people make it out to be, i attended Central High School and it was at least ten times worse then how it is at Broadmoor, Mr. Glueck is only trying to get the students ready for the future, he is a great principle and looks for the best in his students and faculty. The sports are in a slump as of lately due to the lack of involvement, participation and dedication. I play football, soccer and baseball at Broadmoor high school and the parents of the student athletes who attend the sports events is limited. The school has prepped me greatly for college. Class of 2010!!!

If I could take BHS out of EBR, it would be a wonderful school. Administrators are concerned about providing the best learning environment for students and as a result students who are not concerned about learning find this school very strict. If it wasn't for the absurd 'one-size-fits-all' mandates put forth by the parish, the amazingly talented teachers would have more time to do their job. Luckily the school still keeps the students' best interests in mind as much as they can while trying to filter the mess that comes out of central office.

Broadmoor Senior High School is very great school. As a recent alum of the school, I can attest to quality of the education. I contribute my success now in college to my years at the illustrious and diverse Broadmoor High School. BHS has the best teachers and staff, traditions, and academics around Baton Rouge. Notwithstanding the scores, BHS is just as good as any other private or magnet school in the city. This is evident through the accomplishments of alum and current students. Go to BHS, you will not regret your decision. It was my best decisions in I ever made. Go Bucs!

I am currently a student teacher at Broadmoor. I have been truly amazed at the quality of this school. Yes, faculty and staff (including myself) worry about uniforms, but it is for the good of the school. Proper uniforms cut down on distractions and ID's are very important for student safety. They allow teachers to easily recognoze who should and shouldn't be on campus. We do worry about uniforms, but that is before class. once class starts the focus is on teaching. The students here have the opportunity to receive a great education, but many of them have other things on their mind. Any student who has the opportunity to go to Broadmoor is lucky. The uniform thing is only a problem for those who make it a problem.
