Long Cane Elementary School

My child did not have a completely horrible time at this school. However, if you or your child get on the bad side of these people out of expectations that your child should have a safe school to go to, then you will see just how awful some people at this school can be! Especially the principal that says that he is not scared of anyone in Abbeville County! Your child's Civil Rights are completely torn apart! There are a lot of wonderful teachers and staff at this school. However, no one will stand up for your disabled child when push comes to shove. I do not blame all who are employeed at this school, but do hold those that work in an official capacity, who know what is going on and refuse to put a stop to it for some unknown reason responsible!

What a fantastic school this is, My child has been taught at a high standard of learning. The teachers are controlled and just by walking in the school you feel a peacefulness. Every teacher I have come across has been so full of love for my child. All I have heard is positive words. The principal knows all the children by name and outwardly shows love and affection for every child that attends. He truly has a heart for the children. If I have had any questions at all they have been answered in a timley manner. They have gone over and above to help. I know we will have another great year next year with the wonderful attitudes of these teachers. The readiness if these children is always above what is required for the next grade. AAAAA+++++++
