I am a student that was recently attending South Side Middle School. From my understanding people are judging our school based upon its looks. This would have been my 3 year at SSMS but instead I will attending Esms. Our school was more than what you could see from the outside we worked hard to prove to people that we weren't Hood Rats as they say. We have many students who make honor roll and pass plus ISTEP but us to together as ACS is what brings us down because we prove to people in some schools that we are just ignorant Black Folk at SSMS. But as a student you have no voice. Thats all I had to say.#15 from SSMS

I am a student of ESMS and I have to say it is a great school and is very safe. We have a lot of faculty members that monitor the hallways during passing periods so everyone is safe.
