i believe my 17yr old son, who started here in 4th grade, is very well prepared to go on to college. he scored higher on his sat than even some privite school kids in the area...... great school with a rich history.

This is a good school where they think about the children. My daughter works very hard on her class work and learns more and more everyday. The school is having some recent difficulties though. The teachers are on strike at the moment, which in New Jersey means that they are still working but not taking on any extras. They also have some problems which my daughter complains about. Such as: there is a stall door in one of the bathrooms that has been on the frame in the wrong direction for about a year now, and the water in the drinking fountains tends to taste irony. Also, many of my child's friends have recently been put down verbally by the guidance counselors at the school. They have been underestimating their abilities and continually suggest that children aren't ready for colleges, like Rowan, (even if they have 3.0 GPA) and that they should go to Camden County College instead. Otherwise, this is a good school for preparing our children for college and the challenges of life.
