This was the best choice ever! Even my daughter was a victim of her so-called-friends, it was dealt with quickly and swiftly, the kids involved WERE punished and it end that quick. The class sizes are great, she loves this school and has learned far more here than in Penn Valley! So glad we moved her to this area.

This school is horrible. The thing about I hate the most is their 'bullying' tolerance. My son was constantly bullied by many older boys and I told the school and they did little about except talk to the bullies and try to get them to stop. The bullies were punished in no way and they continued to pick on my son. I am extremely unsatisfied with this school....Find a private school....

Our daughter transferred from private to public school this year as a freshman. Although, there have been many areas of ajustment, overall we believe it has been a positive change. Because of math, English & science deficiencies in the private school, our daughter had catching up to do. Most of the incoming freshment with similar grade point averages were enrolled in geomertry as freshmen. BRHS is miles ahead in these courses. Because the BRHS teachers are available and willing to help students, our daughter has been able to maintain her high grade point average. BRHS seems to keep well-aprised of the needs of the students and provides appropriate programs at all levels. Next year we are excited about a new program called partnership academy which will concentrate it's efforts in the area of business for those students thinking of business as a career. BRHS received a grant for this program.
