My son is a freshman at Verrado. Overall I am comfortable with the school, but do feel that many of the teachers I have come into contact with are inexperienced. If the school placed more emphasis on hiring more skilled and experienced teachers, I feel the school would make tremendous progress.
My son is a freshmen at Varrado and he is very happy with Varrado teachers and students. Verrado has changed him in a very positive way. My son is more focused and mature since he started going to high school and his sports skills are very accurate now.
My child does not like verrardo and I have some parents who have kids that are transferring out. Not all students are treated with value
The best thing about this school was its size but by next school year it will be in full swing with freshmen - seniors. I am not impressed with the teaching although there is at elast one teacher in each dept. that seems to be exceptional. That still leaves alot of inexperienced or incompetent teachers......I am also concerned that the academic bar is set very low for athletes.... a 'D' does not prevent them from playing sports. With time hopefully things will improve. In the meantime hopefullly my child will not suffer for this school's mediocre academic program.
