I have 2 sons at matoaca elementary the staff and teachers are great my oldest son had somr problems last year and the asst.Principal and principal have been great always keep in touch and always return calls.I hope middle school and high school will have the wonderful teachers and staff.A++++++
The office staff is unpleasant. The principal, vice principal and counselor say what they need to please the parents, however, they don't seem to follow through with their committments. The teaching staff is excellent. The community is great. Very please with the school itself. The bus driver are da bomb!
My son attends Matoaca Elementary School. He has a wonderful teacher, but with the student/teacher ratio she has a very hard time keeping up. There are 2 kindergarden classes in one room. I am up there alot, it is really loud and hard for my son to concentrate. The princpal this year has done away with the newsletter. Real bummer. It really kept me updated on what was going on with the school. The teachers are very nice, parents supportive. Vice Prinicpal is the best. Wish I saw more of the principal. Matoaca is a wonderful place to raise a family. If we had another kindergarden teacher and the rooms were seperated, I would say it is the perfect school!
