My children (4th and 5th grade) attend Geyser Rd school. It is a great place for them. The principal is amazing she knows all the children by name and is always involved in school activities both during and after school.The teachers are just as great always ther if you need them and are quick to respond if you have a problem. Also as a member of the PTO I have to say the school offeres alot of activities for the school community to be involved in. We moved here 2 years ago and I couldn't be happier with this school.
My daughter is now a 5th grader at Geyser Road school and has been there since Kindergarten. It is a very family oriented school and the teacher are amazing and loved by their students.
My special needs son was welcomed with open arms by teachers, staff and student alike. This school really fosters creative and imaginative growth in their students. The buildings feel very safe and their educational programs are balanced.
Geyser Road Elementary school has far exceeded my hopes and expectations time and time again. The principal knows every student by name and she places a strong emphasis on the academic, physical, character, and emotional development of the students. They are expected to excel and are given the tools they need to, including materials, time, and guidance. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include field trips, seasonal festivals, cultural awareness activities, family dances, and much more! In addition to the PTSA, parents are welcome to assist in the classrooms as mystery readers and to help with special projects, such as parent led after school workshops. Each week, the children have classes in art (many mediums), music (vocal and instrumental), library, and gym. My children have developed a love of learning and are growing up to become wonderful people, thanks in large part to their roots in Geyser Road Elementary.
