I've had one daughter and now a son in the middle school. I've found most teachers to be very concerned about the kids. They also have strict rules to keep people in check. My daughter's currently in her 3rd year of college, getting mostly A's, probably in part to her beginning at Deerfield Middle School. A good community where people all get to know each other if involved in extra curricular activities (church, scouts, sports, etc.)
