I have not been pleased with the school culture at Calistoga Junior Senior High School. I do not feel that academic excellence is given a high value among the students, or that it is a priority to support and challenge the the 'gifted' children. There is a need for fresh faculty to stimulate and relate the children. There has been alot of instability in the administration. Leadership may improve with the recent placement of the former elementary school principal as the new junior/senior high principal.
