I agree with the most recent review. If your liked by the principal, its fine. If you complain justifiably about the awful behavior between the teacher to the children, she does nothing about it, then doesn't treat you very nice. She apparently is very friendly with the teachers, and defends them always, so they get away with treating the children however they like. Being that there are very little students, because most of them have left, they should really close down the school and let the children go to one of the many great elementary schools in the surrounding areas.
be very cautious. What seems to be a very normal small sort of like a private school environment, it is not by all means. There so much bullying that goes on and the teachers and the principal could care less. As long as no one complains everything is fine, the moment a parent brings a serious issue to the attention of the principal she treats you awful, very very rude, and it makes for an awful school environment for the parents, and mostly for those poor children.

Dedicated teachers and Principal. Highly academic curriculum coupled with music, art and sports. Active parent and community.

Overall teaching quality is very high and the curriculum is challanging. The school is small which presents unique opportunities as well as problems. For example, individual attention is the norm yet there is only one class per grade. If a student has social or academic problems there is no escaping the 'class track'. Additionally, there is very high turnover in the administration. This is largely due on the one hand to parents who bring undue pressure to bear with their unrealistic expectations and on the other hand to an ossified and entrenched school board unwilling to admit mistakes or to make changes when the need for them is glaringly obvious. In spite of the problems, the children receive an exceptional education and continue to excel in their high school careers.
