I am a proud parent of four children who have all attended West Pines. My children have been treated fair, kind and they all consider themselves blessed to call themselves a West Pines Panther. The schools teachers show fairness, kindness, exceptional teaching skills and compation for their students. As an active member of the booster club, Parent teachers association and parent advisory board member I rate the school 10 out of 10. Our family is proud to be a second generation of Panthers!!!!!

My son has been attending West Pines for 3 years. Prior to enrolling him, he attended a private school. My son was also in the 3rd grade class whose scores were so outstanding. He is learning and is challenged academically . As to the parent who says there are no extra curricular activities, West Pines offers basketball , cheerleading, they participate in the exchange club Field Day each year, and my son also takes piano lessons at the school. As for the principal . How many of the above parents could remember names of all 250 students and parents? The important fact in my opinion is on 3 different occasions, I have brought concerns to Mr Harrison, and they were addressed with 24 hours.I would advise anyone considering sending their child to West Pines to talk to Mr Harrison, don't take the word of a few disgruntled parents.

I officially pulled my kindergartener out before the christmas holiday. Come to find out he had been bullied by three other boys for several months and the teacher never said a word! I found out by accident. My son was being threatened with a gun, among other things. I have never encountered a school as sorry as this. I have been interviewing principle's at private schools. Hopefully my son will be back in school in a week or so. What a shame though that my husband and I pay taxes yet we still have to pay out of pocket for a decent, threat-free place for our five year old. Several folks in my area send their children elsewhere. That tells the tale.

I agree with the parent that says this is the worst school! To the parent that loves it(good for you)obviously you're children haven't been treated such as ours and the principal shows partiality. I have been there to discuss issues about the children and have been told ' I don't have time right now' This is a real caring principal. My work schedule doesn't always allow me to just drop in at his convenience. Also, the buses are a disaster. The principal gets pd to take care of the bus issues but what goes for 1 child doesn't always go for another. It depends on whose child it is. Someone ,somewhere will listen. My children used to love school till we moved to this one. They hate this school.
