Sunset Hills Elementary School

My kids go to Sunset Hills and they love it!:) they always come home with a smile.There elevators for parents.And the staff cares for the students.My son and daughter have friends that mom works there and they say that she is the best at everything like have fun to being responsible.I would want every parent to come with there kids and have a good education!!!

This school has gone completely upside down. They have taken away homework saying that it does no good. My son's grades have gone from staight a's to c's. So homework does do good!! if you want your child to succeed, don't send them here. Principal doesn't respond to any calls or problems.

I've owned a pre-school and have 4 children. I agree that parents need to be active in their kids learning experience and that we should support the teachers but Sunset Hills has plenty of room to improve. I'm not impressed with the principal or my child's teach in any form or fashion. I'm sure there are some great teachers at this school but one of my kids was very unfortunate this year. I had a few concerns that were presented to the Dysart School System only to be dismissed. I moved to AZ 2 years ago and overall I'm not impressed with Sunset hills - The principal, one teacher experience this year, and the education are extremely poor.

My son has been going here for two years and I agree the dropoff and pickup are a little crazy, but the principal and teachers are wonderful. My son loves going to school every day and makes all A's. I would definately recommend this school.
