This school is not just an easy way out. I personally have felt the wrath of the faculty of Union County High School. If you weren't born in this small hillbilly town or you are a little different from what they're used to, you are constantly singled out and ridiculed. People have different reasons why they attend MEC. I suggest you don't jump the gun because some kids arent as fortuntate as others. I personally am very thankful that I have the opportunity to further my education at such a school. The staff is wonderful and really cares about us.

This school may be a good for kids with learning disabilities but the school is alowing kids that just want to quit regular school to enroll so they can get a glorified GED. 28 credits is the standard diploma but this school offeres a diploma at 22 so tell me do you want your children to have a SUBstandard education...
