My daughter is completing her freshman year at Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Phialdelphia. I have an advantage in comparing it to other Diocesan High Schools since my oldest daughter graduated from another school in the Diocese. Little Flower (LF) is a school where there is a tremendous amount of school spirit that I think may be unrivaled today, considering the overall temperament of today's teenagers. My first exposure to this was at the Catholic League Girls Soccer Championship two years ago. The girls from LF won the game, but I cannot remember the score or who they played. All I can remember are the goosebumps I felt when the students present to cheer on the team poured onto the field after the game to surround their victorious classmates, and at the tops of their lungs, sing their alma mater. Goosebumps.

Fabulous school that allows your daughter to develop the skills to be a strong individual and a leader. She will have the support and guidance to do what she wants to do and will not have the distractions of boys. She learns what is important to her and not what is important to others.

I'm one of 5 girls, all of who went to Little Flower and had great experiences there. When it was time for my daughter to go to High School, I was excited to sent her to LF. Little Flower is a great school. The teachers are amazing. (Especially Mr. Kuhl-who sees what a student is capable of and opens their eyes to it as well.) The school is more that a place to go and learn - it is a family. The administration is top-notch and everyone from the principle to the ladies that work in the lunch room seen happy to be there everyday. That really helps to 'set the tone'. Little Flower graduates go on to recieve thousands of dollars in grants and scholarships, but more importantly they come out of Little Flower with a solid foundatio & an understanding of the world around them. Orever we'll be true!
