Parowan is a great school for teens that need a mor eone on one basis with teachers. Teachers, students, and faculty know you by name and truly care about you. The rules are not enforced with every student, however, there is no cafeteria (however students can leave campus to eat or eat at the elemntary school, a short block away), and budget funds are low. I graduate in 2011 and I love the school.
I graduated from Parowan High School in 2000. I treasure the experiences I had at Parowan High. My family moved to Parowan when I was ten years old. I did not find it difficult to make friends or be accepted. People in Parowan are extremely friendly. Because Parowan is such a small school, the students are provided with many opportunities that they would not have otherwise. The teachers are able to provide one-on-one support, athletic teams are available to nearly anyone who wishes to participate and student leadership positions are attainable. Patriotism and traditions are deeply rooted in Parowan High School. There, I gained a sense of who I am as an American and as a citizen. Academic achievement is important to the teachers and administrators of Parowan High School as well. I would recommend Parowan High to anyone who wants a great education and wonderful opportunities.
I am a former student of Parowan High School and a graduate in 2004. The teachers of Parowan High School are great! They focus on each and every student, and care deeply for the students and the school. And although most of the teachers are either husband and wife, or any other relation, it unites the school even more. If you choose to live in a small town, then you must also accept a small school. The number for sports activities and academic activities may be smaller than most 2A schools, but that does not mean that this school does not have the heart. I highly recommend this school for any student.
This school Needs new Principal and Better guidlines for extra caricular activitys and those alowed to supervise these activities.
