Southside Montessori is the best that I have seen in Spokane. This is the only true 'Montessori' school that serves elementary age students in the region. The director is knowledgeable, kind, and truly understands how children learn. Children at this school are inquisitive and love to learn. The learning is catered to each child and is not dictated by artificial state learning requirements. If you want your child to be active about their own learning, this is the school for your child. It is better than any of the other private or public schools I have seen. I am a National Board Certified teacher, so I think I have a little more credibility to evaluate a school. Go see for yourself!
