This is by far the best school/child care out there! My daughter currently attends the school nd is thriving. The atmosphere is very down to earth and homey feeling. The teachers and staff are wonderful and take great care of her. We are so happy to have enrolled our child at Little Folks-it was one of the best decisions we had ever made!
We love this school- they are kind loving and you feel safe leaving your children there! It feel like they are family!
My daughter is in daycare and is just thriving here. What I really like is they pay very good attention to cleanliness and to special needs. For example, my daughter is a self-taught reader. So, they make sure to encourage that with extra activities for her. The indoor gym is wonderful in this climate and you can hang out with your children after hours because it is in a church building. The staff care for the kids as if they are their own and there are quite a few second generation children there, which I think says a lot.
The student/teacher ratio is a little off, at least for pre-k. My son went here as a 4/5 year old and there was a 4:1 student/teacher ratio in his class. My son absolutely loved it here. His class was very developmentally appropriate (lots of play and crafts, storytime, etc.) They didn't force academics down the poor kids' throats, but covered the ABC's, counting, etc. I would highly recommend this school (and already have to a number of friends!)
