My kids go to Wilson and we are very happy both in terms of academics as well as the nurturing atmosphere; most definitely recommend the school
Quality of academic is very teacher dependent, and teachers are overall extremely good, with a few well known execeptions. Caring, stimulating, appropriate, and sensitive to the needs of the individual child. Administration has weakened over the past 2-3 years, but for a long time, this school was precedent setting in its programs supporting diversity and mainstreaming. Music is available, as is art, but not strongly supported. Not enough space to have a full program. Parent involvement through PTA appears to be mainly social, and is very dominated by a few personalities.
this school is a good place to have children learn and make friends. I believe that this school has the right tools and teaching skills to accomplish what no other schools can. Also this school should have good teaching for the kids.
