I am a upper class parent of panther creek. The school has not been a great place to be the staff are not very nice /welcoming people. the administration are never available Theres been more times then I can count that I haver left messages and try to speak with the staff and they dont even have the curiosity to send e-mail or return phone calls especially when there has been a problem at the school concerning My Child. some of the teacher are not vey caring either. there are parents out here that cares and expect their children to be treated/taught right. It needs to be more welcoming to parents who are not causing a problem. The children are not adults and thats where the problem lays they are treated as if they are. the schools not friendily at all.

Poor leadership in the prinicpal. The teachers have been good. Not a friendly school, don't feel welcomed when entering. The assistant principals seem great except for the older gentleman. My daughter says their is gang activity in the school. Very crowded at lunch, 2200 students at lunch at one time is too much.

I am the parent of a rising 12th grader and a rising 9th grader at PCHS. My son has had a positive experience. There is time for lunch or study, research, clubs, tests, tutoring, homework, make-up work, or just visiting during Smart Lunch, allowing time for athletics after school, so it is a great program. Our experience with the administration has been mixed. Mr. Nelson has always been approachable, proud of student growth, and has always shown personal interest in our student athletes. He's doing a great job! Asst principal Welch took the word of staff over student, until it had to be proven to him through a mediator that the student was the wronged party. Not so good. Parent involvement is less in high school, as students become more independent, but there are still many chances for involvement in extracurricular activities, and you are needed, so sign up!
