The people make it special! The teachers, staff, parents and kids are all working together to build a school which focuses on developing great people, and it is working!
It's an charter school where the parents have a lot of input and ability to volunteer. The outdoor learning projects give the kids self confidence and help remind them of their ties to the community and the planet. We have a great school without the extras of buses, a cafeteria or an indoor gym--I think it keeps everyone creative--you have to think out of the box.
