Hello parents. Thank you for reading my words. My children goes to the LCCS and we are happy to go because it no cost money to us. We no have lots of money. The school last my children go to was not nice with gangs and drugs. LCCS is nice because it no cost money and is safe. We not worry to get shot at anymore. We parent no worry that our children get shot at or get robbed at. Thank you very much. LCCS is good school if you no have money. Thank you.

I am commenting on the overall school and my experience so far. We have been here for 3 years and I am happy so far. I am glad they moved from the Boys & Girls club due to lack of security and the condition of the facilities. My child loves the school and is reading way above her grade level and is doing great at math. I think going to 3 classes was an adjustment but it is only the 1st year. I think there is still a great community feel and the parents and teachers really care. I think the afterschool clubs here are better than what I have seen in 2 other private schools.

The LCCS school has become weaker as a result of the expansion to three classes. We are very disappointed but have no where else we can send our kids because we can't afford private. Charter schools are proving to be a big disappointment, especially for kids older than third grade. Our cousin went to the new charter school called The Ethical Community Charter and she had to remove her daughter because of the weak academics and goofy philosophy. The LCCS after school program lacks substance and engages children lightly. We really shouldn't complain too much though because it is free and it's ultimately better than the public school we belong to. We can only hope that our financial condition improves so that we can find better for our children.

First of all, thank you to Great Schools for providing such a great resource for parents. We were with LCCS for three years and to be honest, we were never that impressed. The one thing that really impressed us was the close knit community of LCCS parents. Never have we made so many friends. After our daughter's third year of non challenging work, we pulled her out. We realized that the amount of friends we had at a school was not as important as how much our child was learning. We did appreciate that LCCS is free and better than Public Schools. Once we learned that LCCS's long time and wonderful principal was leaving, we knew the school couldn't get better. We believe that in spite of average academics, Susan held the school together like no other could have.
