I love everything about SJCDS. Great admin, teachers, academics and arts. Best value money can buy. All 3 of my kids are way ahead of their friends who don't attend SJCDS.
We love everything about SJCDS. From the Administration, athletics, PT-L, arts and academics. We love it all! Best value money can buy. The course work is not easy, so your child will need to be prepared. We love it. Can't wait to send my youngest child there too!
The curriculums at St. John's Country Day School are progressive and challenging enough for children to learn. The teachers have a good level of expectations from their students to learn and the teachers are interested in the well being of students. Older students interact with younger ones which provides a unique learning experience. The atmosphere at the school of one of friendliness, helpfulness and plain old wonderful 'southern hospitality.'
We had two children at Saint Johns Country Day for many years and we loved it under the previous headmaster...Unfortunately when my older son graduated in 2006 as a National Merit Scholor and received a total 100 percent scholorship to University of Fla, we noticed major problems with the new headmaster and his liberal policies. But most important is the fact my wife and I had serious concerns about the new direction of the school , so we left and our youngest son is now much better off scholastically in another school. Furthermore, I cannot reccomend this once honorable Saint Johns Country Day School to anyone. Also, I would not recommend this new head master to anyone who values honor and the ability to live up to the schools own honor code it requires of all students... From the Heart hope this helps
