Lippman provides a top-notch education. The individual attention that students receive is just not possible in the large classes seen in other schools. Students are participating, problem-solving, speaking, presenting, learning and receiving attention and feedback in every class, every day. The self-esteem and life skills they are building, on top of the excellent education, is incredibly valuable. Lippman gets to use the excellent facilities at the adjacent JCC - including a pool, full-size gym and auditorium, tennis courts, athletic fields, etc. I love the global perspective that is expanding at the school. The Judaics and Hebrew program is excellent. They offer Spanish and are developing a World Cultures program. They embrace diversity and value each individual's perspective. Children learn to understand and celebrate differences in themselves, their classmates and others. My children are getting a great foundation for being well-rounded, well-educated, world citizens who will thrive in our global society.

It is still a developing school that is trying to find its inner reason for teaching children. The staff is unified and ruled as one. The principle needs to take leadership and needs to get to know the students better, it is such a shame that she, along with the middle school teachers, does not know the students that well in such a small school. I would have expected a better outcome. I did not learn what was necessary for my next level of schooling. I felt incomplete and i would never suggest this school for anyone, especially not in language arts or social studies. The parts that I was most unsatisfied with was the principle, the core teacher, and the relationships between the students and the teachers. I hope that no one would ever suggest this school to anyone. It is losing its Jewish culture.
Lippman is a great school. My child receives an excellent education in a safe, nurturing, values-based environment. Class sizes are small so children get individualized attention. The teachers are able to go in-depth into topics. Beyond just teaching the information, teachers work with students on skills vital for academic and life success, such as critical thinking, problem solving, team building and oral presentation skills. They have a wonderful program for the visual and performing arts and music. They offer both Spanish and Hebrew language. The library is amazing. I see that the school is helping my child to become a high-achieving, confident, competent, well-rounded and caring individual. I am so grateful to the school and the wonderful teachers.
