This is my grandchildrens' first term at Heard, during the enrollement stage, I was very impressed with all of the faculty that I meet. Have only heard good comments and am looking for a good year so far Heard Elem. is four stars from granny.
My sons just started this school year. I met the principal first day. Love him! He is so involved with the children.
Our daughter entered the magnet program in Kindergarten with Ms Blakewood and Ms Galins. She was fortunate to have Ms Burns as her First Grade teacher. The exposure that she had to education exceeded our expectations. She was introduced to violin, music, spanish, art, science, health and PE. She also was in the Gifted Education Program (GEP), where she further expanded her mind. We were thrilled with this school. Mr Heater is a great principal and was really engaged with the students. We will miss all the teachers and staff. They really had our little girl loving school. :-) Melany L
My child attended Heard for first and second grade. Ms. Kelly and Ms. Smith are wonderful, loving teachers who made my child's education exciting and challenging. I would recommend this school to any family locating to the Savannah area.
