It is an honor to work with the excellent family of educators at Georgeotown. There is a high level of professionalism among the teachers. The expertise and leadership of the administrators in invaluable.

We are a military family and moved to Savannah in 2003. I was very concerned about the public schools in Chatham County but decided to give Georgetown a try. I could not be happier! My boys are in second grade now and have attended Georgetown since Pre-K. This is our last year here and we will really miss this school. Both the Principal and Vice Principal are great. Put that together with the super teachers and you have a wonderful learning environment. Both my boys love going to school and are learning a ton! We would not trade this last four years for anything.

If you are a resident of Savannah, then you have already heard about the quality of this school. Our town has the idea that if you are not enrolled in a private school then you will not receive the education you need. Georgetown is ranked right up there with the most popular private schools in Savannah. My child now attends Georgetown in the first grade, after attending kendergarden. He has excelled at a rate that truly surprised me. upon leaving kindergarden he was reading at a excelled level. Before entering school he wasn't reading. I have also began a new career as a special education para-pro at this school and the fact that I get to work at this school under the tuterage of Kimsherion Reid makes me extremely proud of my oppurtunity to help shape the minds of this countries future leaders. Go Lions!!!

Georgetown is a wonderful avademic elementary school and that staff is well geared to help the children grow. Our son is in first grade and we could not be happier. The principal is the greatest - she is new to the position this year(2006) but was VP nefore this and really knows the kids and programs well. She is an asset to the school.
