I loooooooooove this school. The band rocks, the teachers rock, the Gifted & Talented program rocks, KMO rocks, and everything rocks. Lunches are OK. So there are rumors but it's not that bad. So I love it. ABMS is awesome!
This school, my school, is organized, up to date, and everything about it shines. And ya'll are worried about sports?! The first thing they cut back from is the music department. Don't believe me? Then where'd Jazz Band go? Plus, we have sports. We don't have much band. 3 bands and 12 sports. Which one is lacking?
Like I said Admiral Byrd Middle School is a great School. If a school cut back its sports program it can not receive 5 stars. Sports is just as important to the school as say the band. How much does it really cost to play basketball. They have the uniforms, balls and other equipment already. My child is on the all A and B honor roll at Byrd. So I know their teachers do a great job to educate our children.
