Being as how I attend this school, I see first-hand how it really is. There isn't a lot of money, but we try to the make the best of it. There are alot of dedicated teachers who strive to make the school a better and more enjoyable place for their students while still managing to teach them. It is also true that we do have some of the lowest scores in the county, but I believe that with the help and dedication that the teachers and staff, as well as the students, are willing to put in, we can raise those scores. I also think that more parents should be more involved with our education. As for athletics, well I think it's great that the school is able to offer different choices that way we have something other than just 'hang out' and get into trouble

Although this school has a number of outstanding and dedicated teachers, it has a hard time overcoming the simple fact that there just isn't a lot of money for the programs the school and students so desperately need. The school is strong in science, math, and English, weaker somewhat in history, fine arts, and its athletic and academic programs. College-preparatory and AP offerings are limited at best. However, this is a school on its way up--more money and more parent involvement would help greatly!

The school itself is a good school to attend because of the different activities provided by the school. The athletics department for the school is good and has challenging teams to play against, but it also has a good team. The level of parent involvement is average and is at a good level, but is the job of the parents to be involved, not the school.
