I fully agree with the parents here. Many academics choose this public school and are very disappointed with the curriculum. In Brighton, the bright kids are the ones that are left behind. Teachers are dealing with behavioral problems in integrated classes. Kids are not challenged to reach their full potential and teachers' union protect the mediocre educators. A big waste on talents. Admin will say Differentiation, but I don't see it. They need to notch it up in order to justify collecting these huge taxes!

School is great, but I agree with the previous parent...Teachers are VERY so-so. If you don't push the system, you won't get anywhere. Parents do make the district!!!
The great majority of FRES children come from families where parents have advanced degrees and value education. Most teachers are only so-so, they do very little to 'push' students and challenge them. Assignments and grading for the most part are a joke. The families is what makes FRES a top school.
