My 3 kids are attending SJCS. We have been there since 2003. We love the school, the teachers, the parents, the children...and our wonderful Principal. You could not spend your money better, because the education is targeted for the whole child. They grow in knowledge, principals, discipline, and spirit. Your child could not be in a better environment! Truly, is a wonderful school!
St. John Catholic School has caring,highly qualified and experienced teachers.They truely reach out to each individual student. It shows in the students high test scores. Our Children feel like their teachers are an extension of our family. The older students are ideal role models for the grade students. My husband and I were most impressed by the older students who enter high school honors programs and recieve scholarships. All of SJCS students are polite, kind,and the teachers instill Jesus Christ's teachings and values in the students. Students are encouraged to share their time, talent, and treasures to help the less fortunate. They're taught to make proper choices and be responible. Parents volunteer to help enrich the school's academic and extracurricular activities with fun festivals,events, and fellowship because they want to help the school not becuase they are forced. St. John school is turning 50 and has wonderful teachers and students.
Our daughter attended a local public Middle Shool and we were very disappointed in the education she received so we chose SJCS for our son. My husband and I both have Masters degrees in Education and in our assessment, SJCS is providing a very solid educational experience for our son. They offer a well-rounded curriculum including art, music, and special interests ranging from poetry and drama to science fair and independent studies. There is a strong focus on developing the whole child, including moral development. SJCS helps kids learn to be good people with solid values. Tuition rates are surprisingly low - there is no way tuition can cover all the costs associated with running the school. But the ten volunteer hours required can be fulfilled by participating in family projects and the pre-packaged fundraising events available make it easy for parents to contribute in ways beyond their personal checkbooks.
