Apple Tree is family owned and it's a big school. Yet, they have a lot of the same faces around each year. Some have been there a really long time, parents and teachers. There's a reason for that.... My only complaint about the school is some of the other parents, who unlike me, think the rules don't apply to them.
Appletree is a fantastic place to put your little one. The Staff are outstanding and exceptional! Great positivity flows throw the doors of the school who celebrates 32 years of serving the Manassas community. We love Appletree!
We have been at Apple Tree five years now.... This was our last year and I wanted to leave a thank you for taking such amazing care of our children and being that 'first experience'. I was completely surprised at some of the mean and seems to be personal comments left here about the staff. I have had nothing but a fantastic experience......from the learning, the extra activities/events, the price (I shop around each year), the teachers, and especially the directors. I had a problem once (repeated concerns about a teacher) and I went straight to the curriculum director and it was immediately and very quickly and discreetly resolved. My children love the playground and their teachers have always been so great nice balance of learning and playtime. We're very emotional about leaving (it's been part of our family) and I wish the staff and school the best!
It didn't take long for my 2-yr old to adjust to her new school. She seems happy to be there. Staff is very friendly and there is a small-town feel, in that so many staff know my daughter by name though she's been there just 2 months. I intend to communicate to the administration that there is a need for improved parent communication, starting with a suggestion box and email communications. We love this school though there is always room for improvement.
