I'm a graduate from 2004 and I must say SL was by far was the best choice I could have made. While some students join student link because they struggle with regular highschool, others, such as myself, join because regular high school is boring and too structured. SL forced me to take control of my education by making me responsible for the classes I wanted to take and learning how to self evaluate my own work. Today I'm positive that student link prepped me for success in the distance learning college course I am currently taking. If your child is is responsible and considered advanced or artistic I would hightly recommend SL. However one caveat - if your child is struggling or is not responsible with their time I would suggest an alternate program - perhaps even family link which incorporates more parent interaction into the education structure.

I'm a student at student link and it's a great way to get school credit for things you like. You get to design your own courses!
