We moved here in 2009. Previously we had educated our children in both public & private schools in northern & southern states, and had researched the local schools here thoroughly. Pleasant Ridge is a wonderful, high quality school, with a nurturing and progressive educational environment. The teachers are professional and the administrators are responsive; overall, it's very well organized school. The facility itself is great (check out the music room!).
All the teachers genuinely care about their students. The principle is encouraging to the students and the staff. And the parents in the community care about their school and children as well.
We have been so happy with this school. The principal and teachers go out of their way to do what is best for the kids. They use best practices, are really involved with the parents, and easy to communicate with. It is a great community school, where the parents, students, teachers and staff really are working together as a family to help all of our kids get an excellent education!
Its now secret, this the best school district in the county. I moved to this community especially to give my son every opportunity. Took him out of a private monessori program without regret. Good program, new high school and special programs.
