This school is terrible. Parents only send their kids here because it is a status symbol! mine are leaving asap

The parents are very clique-ish, so it's no surprise the kids are too. They emphasize religion quite a bit, and parents have to jump hoops for the priests. If you want a well-rounded experience for your child, where he will meet others that are not all exactly alike, this is not the school for you. Everyone is very generic, the kids, parents, teachers.

St. Theresa School is an ultra conservative shool run by carmelites. The mathematics program for 7th and 8th grade is weak and could use improvement. The athletic program was average until they hired their new athletic director a little over a year ago. Since then, he has improved the athletic program greatly. Teachers are easy to communicate with but do not discipline the students well. The students are stuck up and have cliques. Thye school is has an unfriendly atmosphere and could use improvement.
St. Theresa School in Coral Gables is a Catholic school run by the Carmelite Sisters from California. It is very religious and conservative. The pastor controls the school and makes all the major decisions. The administration are puppets that follow whatever he tells them to do. The students do well...average to above average...and go on to one of the catholic high schools in the area. The atmosphere is one of competitiveness and rivalry. The teachers are very dedicated and hard working. Overall the school is average in all academic areas, but has an unfriendly environment.
