I graduated from NCS last year and it was an awesome school! The teachers were nice and funny and if you asked for help, they would help you. The uniforms had different color choices so they weren't that boring really. It took me some time to adjust in 5th grade, but after that it went smoothly. Since there are phases, you have classes according to your level and I always had challenging stuff, so it prepared me a lot for later on. NCS prepared me a lot for high school since I was learning stuff that most kids wouldn't learn at that age. Now, I'm a freshman at Charter School Of Wilmington and so far, it's pretty good because we learned a lot of stuff last year, especially in math so that's pretty easy now.
I am in my 4th year of NCS and am graduating this year.Newark Charter is a wonderful school.Though fifth grade was a challenging transition year for me, I have learned so much. The environment is wonderful and supportive and you are always encouraged to succeed. I believe that NCS taught me what I will need to know for highschool and more.
I am in my 4th year of NCS and have to say this is the best middle school in Delaware. I am learning at a 10th grade standard and have taught at a very high level. The teachers are supportive, and parents are very connected. Every student gets the help they need, and I feel I benefitted greatly by going here and will recommend this school to any aspiring student.
I am graduating this year out of NCS and couldn't say that there is a better school out there. I am learning above my grade level and feel that I am prepared for anything! There is a lot of workload, but now I am not scared of homework and I know how to manage my time and skills. I learned so much, the environment is great, and the atmosphere is wonderful. These 4 years passed very quickly and I wish I could do these 4 years all over again!
