My kids went to St. Andrews for 7 years and from an academic stand point they did okay. If your child is gifted there is not a lot of support in place. Some of the teachers have been in the system for many years and are not the most positive role models. They focus on the one thing a child did not do correct rather that the 99 things that were good. There are some changes that are in place for the 2009-2010 year that could possibly be positive.
I have three children at St. Andrews school and couldn't be happier with the choice we made for their education! It is a close, friendly community with fantastic teachers and staff!!
My kids both go to St. Andrews and we love it. Not only have they learned to read, write, at a higher grade level but they are able to practice the faith.
