While the school and philosophy themselves are excellent, the people there are unreasonably strict. I would not feel comfortable recommending this school to others. I was treated unfairly and with seeming contempt during my five years there. Be warned.
My 2 daughters have been at AMI for the past 2 years. It is very challenging academically and my girls are thriving. It is strict Montessori and not for the faint of heart. The diversity is excellent.
I think this is an awesome school. It builds the foundation necessary for higher education. It is a small school and hence the teacher-parent interaction is excellent. All the teachers know all the parents and vice versa. The school believes in instilling discipline in the kids. The school has great teachers and I am very happy that both my kids go there.
