Chestatee Elementary School

I have three children who go to chestatee the teachers are great for the most part but the office staff look down on people who don't appear to have alot of money. The principle last year was the worst.I've considered moving to get out of this school maybe with new principle it will get better.

I have to agree with the parent that stated when you bring up your concerns they just dismiss them.I have had the same issue this year.I brought my concerns several times to the ones in command and I just get the 'you have valued concerns, but yet nothing has been done.' We have teachers that do not work with the parents and do not care if the child does well or not. I guess it is to much trouble!! My child did not excel and always has in the past. Do you know they do not look at your childs grades just the CRCT testing and that is all that matters. Really, this is a joke some kids do not test well under pressure. How can you base if a student should move on to the next grade based on one test. We were told this by the teachers.

I have a 1st grader and I love the environment at this school. I just wish the teachers pushed my daughter a little more.

Hi I have a daughter that just started this school in September and the teacher she has is great I do feel that they don't push the kids hard enough. Also there is a bully in my child's class I think they could be a bit more firm with. But the over school has been good so far. the teachers are very friendly.
