2009-2010 school year is off to a good start. Our principal and new vice principal seem to be 100% invested in the students at Del Sur. Teacher morale seems to be up this year and I really enjoy the parents and families at this school. The biggest draw back seems to be front office staff who for some reason seem to think they do not need to greet parents when they walk in the front door nor have a smile on their face when tending to parent/student concerns.
This year Del Sur is looking much better. The principal is involved, we know who she it. Last year we didn't, nor was she involved. The office staff is doing a much better job, acknowledging, and assisting. We could use more sports for the elementary children, like gymnastics, soccer, something other than band. Not everyone is interested in being in the band. What about after school help for academics for the elementary students? Overall it is good for a learning institution if there are no difficulties in learning. This year is much better for the elementary students. Good job. Second year Parent.

I have 2 children currently in Del Sur and 1 that already graduated jr. high. Del Sur has alot of extracurricular activities, such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, track, crosscountry, art, dance, student goverment, and band to just to name a few. I am very surprised to hear a parent say there is nothing to offer there. The teachers are amazing and go not just an extra mile more like a extra 100 miles for are children. The only complaint I have is I don't feel the principal is very involved and I am very disappointed in the VP this year. Last year you saw him all the time at all functions and around school. This year not at all. Overall this school has great teachers with awsome dedication and support for our children
