This school has come a long way since my first son started there, which was 6 years ago. The administration works together, and they try to promote a positive, constructive, no excuses atmosphere. Unfortunately parental involvement could use a big push at this school, although it has improved over time. The teachers are really on the ball about keeping parents posted about student progress, and extracurriculars are very improved. We are a little disappointed in the drop in science education in the last couple years, but really pleased with the ability based math education. It helps math-troubled students, but does not slow down math-gifted students. Great support staff. Also, staff work hard to keep the building clean and inviting to visitors. Some work could be done on lunch time behavior, but even that has come a long way. My youngest son reports he has not been bullied once.
